Herringbone is a herringbone-weave placement in 100% heavyweight cotton. The placemat lies firmly on the table and has a small embroidered Georg Jensen Damask logo. The Walnut shade is a nut-brown classic across the Georg Jensen Damask collection.
Herringbone placemats are named after the weave technique that produces the distinctive herringbone pattern. The placemats are made to not only withstand daily use, but to also look elegant in a festive table setting. The rectangular placemats measure 50 x 36 cm and come in packs of two. The range also includes table runners and round placemats. Georg Jensen Damask has been a market leader since 1756 in crafting quality textiles that make everyday life a little better.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C. White products can be washed at 95°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- We recommend that you unfold the product fully before washing it and avoid overfilling the washing machine. After washing, gently stretch the product into shape. We recommend hang drying the product for a smoother result.
- For a smoother finish, we recommend washing it on a low spin cycle \\u2013 max. 600\\u2013800 rpm. Then hang the product to dry and iron it while still slightly damp.
- We recommend that the placemats are rolled when not in use to avoid crease lines.
