1959 is a classic kitchen towel from Georg Jensen Damask. Its strong cotton weave provides high absorbency, and in a pinch, it can also double as a tea towel. Among several colors, you'll find the green favorite, Mineral Green.
The 1959 kitchen towel is designed by weaver and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who led the Georg Jensen Damask design department for many years. He worked extensively to combine aesthetics and function, especially in the selection of kitchen textiles and bed linen.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product can be tumble dried or hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
