The Northern Light pillowcase in Light Oak is damask- woven bed linen in 100% double-twisted combed cotton. The subtle motif was designed by Bent Georg Jensen in 1991 and is an iconic design in the Georg Jensen Damask collection. Light Oak is a soft beige shade.
Northern Light was designed by textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who played a crucial role in Georg Jensen Damask’s development from village weaving mill to design company. He is responsible for some of Georg Jensen Damask’s most iconic classics, in addition to Northern Light, for example the Abild tea towel. In addition to a separate pillowcase, the Northern Light design is available for both double and single duvets and in a junior size for little ones. Georg Jensen Damask has been a market leader since 1756 in crafting luxurious quality textiles that make everyday life a little better.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible. White bed linen can be washed at 95°C.
- We recommend that you unfold the product fully before washing it and avoid overfilling the washing machine. After washing, gently stretch the product into shape.
- The bed linen can be tumble dried, but we recommend hang drying for a smoother result.
- You may find that your bed linen has some creases the first few times you wash it, but over time it will become smoother with use.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
