Comet is a timeless striped tea towel designed by Bent Georg Jensen in 1979 - here in the light green colour combination Mineral Green. The tea towel is woven from a blend of cotton and linen, making it ideal for drying.
In his many years of work, weaver, designer and textile designer Bent Georg Jensen was concerned with combining quality, function and design, an approach that is also reflected in the minimalistic Comet tea towel. Comet is both practical and looks beautiful in the kitchen, and is a key design in Georg Jensen Damask\u2019s renowned collection of classic textiles for your home. Mineral Green is a light green spring colour that recurs across the collection, and in the Comet tea towel, this shade is complemented by a thin light brown stripe.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
