Comet is a minimalistic striped tea towel woven from a blend of cotton and linen, making it ideal for drying. The Dark Grey colour combination is timeless and suits most kitchens.
The Comet tea towel was designed in 1979 by textile designer Bent Georg Jensen. For many years he ran Georg Jensen Damask as both designer and manager. He cherished the craft of weaving, and mastered the art of combining quality, function and aesthetics. The striped Comet tea towel is part of the Georg Jensen Damask collection, which also includes the Abild tea towel, the 1959 kitchen towel and the Northern Light and Tripp bed linen sets.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
