The classic Abild tea towel in the color Deep Red, featuring “God jul” (Merry Christmas) woven into the fabric, is a true holiday classic. Wish someone a Merry Christmas or say thank you for the invitation with this festive version of Abild, designed by textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen. This set includes two tea towels.
The tea towel is woven from a durable blend of linen and cotton. For many, the striped Abild tea towel evokes memories of kitchen conversations and time spent with loved ones. Designed in 1991, it has become an iconic design in the Georg Jensen Damask collection.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product is recommended to be hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
