The nostalgic Christmas Rustic placemat, featuring woven Christmas hearts and stylized spruce twigs, was designed by textile artist Bodil Bødtker-Næss. Archive Red is one of the original colors from 1975, combining red and gold for a traditional holiday feel.
The Christmas Rustic placemat is a beautiful addition to the holiday table. Bodil Bødtker-Næss, a leading textile artist with Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s, created a design that has symbolized Christmas since 1975. The placemats are damask woven from a blend of 50% linen and 50% double-spun combed cotton.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- We recommend that you unfold the product fully before washing it and avoid overfilling the washing machine. After washing, gently stretch the product into shape.
- We recommend hang drying the product for a smoother result.
- We recommend that the placemats are rolled when not in use to avoid crease lines.
