1959 is a classic waffle-weave kitchen towel woven in 100% cotton, designed by textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen, who managed Georg Jensen Damask for many years. Bright Blue is a beautiful vivid shade of blue.
Designer and textile engineer Bent Georg Jensen was meticulous about combining quality with aesthetics, function and design in his work. You can therefore use the 1959 tea towel as both a tea towel and a kitchen towel, and it goes beautifully with other kitchen textiles from Georg Jensen Damask. The unique waffle weave ensures optimal drying properties.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product can be tumble dried or hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
