A classic kitchen towel in soft cotton, which ensures superior absorbency. 1959 is a lighter alternative to the other kitchen towels in the collection, and can therefore also be used as a tea towel.
Archive is a light beige colour inspired by the Danish landscape, the early spring light and beautiful long beaches. The kitchen towel in Archive will suit any kitchen. Add the Abild tea towel in the same shade for a smart and coherent look.
1959 was originally designed by weaver and textile designer Bent Georg Jensen, who headed Georg Jensen Damask for many years and was also a driving force in design development. With its strong cotton weave, the kitchen towel is a practical companion in the kitchen.
Wash & care
- Wash at 60°C.
- When washing coloured products, we recommend using a laundry detergent developed for coloured textiles and without bleach, to preserve the colours in the best way possible.
- Before using the product for the first time, we recommend soaking it in cold water for about 24 hours. This will straighten out the fibres and ensure effective absorbency from the start.
- For a smoother result, unfold the product completely before soaking and washing and avoid overfilling the machine.
- The product can be tumble dried or hung to dry.
- We recommend ironing for a smooth and satiny look.
